While hunting for the covered bridges we came upon this little town. Had to get out and walk around a bit. KInd of leaves you thinking Hummm???

went in this glass shop - real pretty stuff - stained glass and fused glass

one of the stores - note the telephone pole

some one or every one had taken the time to knit and stitch "scarves" for all the telephone and light poles

this one had tiny signs saying Peace in many different languages

and this one is my favorite - molds of noses with the picture of the person attached

Also in the town was a big University that looked completely deserted Anitoch University just found this on line "In June 2007 Anitoch University's Board of Trustees announced that the college would be suspending operations as of July 2008 and would try to reopen in 2012." so guess it was closed - and it is such a beautiful place.
neat little place though, bet in the summer it is hopping

Wow, I wouldn't expect that in Ohio - but it sure is cute. Another place to add to my list of places - I think this needs to move to interesting places - as should lots of threads here in the general talk area. Whatcha think? I'll move it if you're okay with it?

That is a neat town. I will look up the location and put it on my 'places to visit' list. I somehow end up in Ohio a lot lately.

Beth, I agree that Interesting Places is a good location for this post - - makes it easy to find later.

What an interesting town, wonder who makes all the scarves? It certainly is a Place of Interest. Who would have ever thought to make a scarf and put it on a light pole? I would love to visit this town. Someday !!!

Beth - move it if you want - this is a very LITTLE town only about 2 blocks each way the only reason we were there is we were looking for the bridges.
