Sandi, Sheila & Beth, thanks for your cooperation/coordination in contacting Linda. She sent me text yesterday to say you had called her, Sandi. Beth, hope you get your door lock fixed. Sheila, you are so sweet to remind me that you will "welcome her with open arms"--my forum family never lets me down!

WILL MISS Y'ALL SOOOO MUCH! Have a great time 8-)

My friend, Ken, and I were in Q for a couple of days, before Sheila returned. We stayed at the free BLM, about 3 mi north of town and plan to go back there. We went up to Lake Havasu for the balloon festival and Buses By the Bridge. Stayed at Craggy Wash BLM, near where I parked a couple of years ago, with friends. They loved my choice! We had a nice, relaxing time. Now, we are in 29 Palms, in my long time friend, Dottie's, yard. Taking her out to dinner tonight. We plan to leave on Thursday or Friday and stop to meet up with my friend, Jackie, at the Slabs, before heading to Q for the weekend. Sheila...I'm guessing you were on a roll when you blazed through Lake Havasu, so didn't hear from you. I hope the Indian Tacos are this weekend ;) I missed them before. Is there a pot luck planned, yet? We will probably only stay until Tuesday. Monday is supposed to be windy.

I will probably head out to Q early Friday morning instead of Thursday night. Will give me more time to get things packed up and also get one more good nights sleep before heading out. I am feeling better but want to make sure I am not pushing myself too much either.

Am thinking we could do the potluck on Friday or Saturday afternoon/evening? Which day works best for those of you who will be there?

What else do you gals have planned? I know the RV show will be going on. Linda wants to head up to the Desert Bar this weekend. I would like to go there too.

I always come in full, Alice. Then again, I always travel with my water tank full.

Linda, hope you and Ken stay at least till Wednesday, but we'll see each other this winter again one way or another. Wish I could go up to the Desert Bar, but can't be there on the weekends.

haven't seen the water truck this year...however with your fee for camping you can get water it's located in South La Posa we are
in North LaPosa...if I knew how to run my pump we could use my barrell I'm sure it is just the person using it
also in town is a place called the pit stop you can get water there costs but not that much I don't think Kerry can tell you
as that is where she is....
as to the pot luck hadn't really thought about it but guess probably Sat would be best
who all will be here then and then next week we can do another one
sheila

Had a great time at dinner with the "group". It was warm in the restaurant. It is really cool here I am surprised how cold it really is. "Come to Arizona it will be warm" they said.....NOT 32 degrees here this morning.

You are missed, Sandi. As to the scones, I'm here and will miss those Navajo tacos of Sheila's this year. I think they had them last weekend. I believe Sheila was willing do them again, but the weather today simply isn't cooperating. We're all hunkered down in our own rigs. If the wind would die down, the sun is out... Now I'm just hoping for the less wind called for tomorrow as I have to get back.

Sorry you got sick :(

Too bad it is so cold out there!

Beth, we didn't have the Navajo tacos last weekend. Sheila just made her scones.
