Count me in! I am planning to go. Just need to figure out where I will stay. Not sure if a tent will work out there.

Thanks Sheila! We need to have a party out there to celebrate Ava's retirement and my birthday, both of which are on January 17th!

Any of you know when you will be down there for this? Am putting in a request for days off from work for that week. Now that it is closer, who all plans on being there?

I'll be there, will decide when as time gets closer. Will see when
everyone else is going to show up. And since I'll be retired then I
have no time limits or elsewhere to be.

Sunday is the 15th Lyn. :)

I hope to be there either the 19th or the 20th depending on when I can get a prescription before leaving. I'll be staying until at least the 29th.

I planned to go for two weeks. But those were jello plans and now impossible. I applied last spring to volunteer at Gilbert Ray CG in Tucson. They rarely have openings, but received a voicemail today that a returnee had to cancel and would I still be available. Yes! So I have no clue if I'll be able to get a few days off in a row to head over there. Time will tell.

Hey Karen, SO GLAD you will be joining us. And, yes Sandi, it is the 15th!!! As we park on BLM land that charges, I always sign up for the two weeks for $40.00. Good bargain as far as I'm concerned. Trash pick=up at the dumpsters and dump included.

Karen there is water and dump available in town also. (not to far away) I bring empty gallon water bottles also as there are many water machines in area selling a gallon for 25 cents.

A couple of grocery stores with small selections...lots of restrauants. Big tent has many booths for RV supplies and "do dads". Blythe is closest town with large grocery stores.

There is free o'night camping about 6 miles south on why 95, and at Dome Rock off Hwy 10.

You people coming from the north will want to get onto Interstate 10 south as soon as possible. Free camping in back of Morongo Casino too.

More info later, as necessary...lyn

Adding to my previous post...the Rice Ranch is right across the street from the big tent. Easy walking distance. They charge $5.00 per night. No minimum on # of nights like LaPosa North where Sheila parks. It is boon-docking also. A couple of Forum ladies are camping at Rice Ranch. lyn

I know I have not been on for awhile but I will be in Quartzite from thee 15th to the 29th. Frankly, I have thought about paying the fee and coming earlier if any of you ladies will be there. I have nothing to do from the 3rd on.
