Looking forward to Frankenmuth. Looks like we will be bringing a friend who camps with us in Wapakoneta with us. She lives down near Cincinnati on the Indiana side. So we have 3 adults and one GB.

Anymore thoughts on the pot luck? We should arrive Friday early afternoon. We can cook some burgers.

Not sure who all will make it but getting excited :D

I. too, am getting excited to meet the women I only read about on the forum. Looks like my SIL won't make it. but I'm determined to come alone. Will keep my resv. at the Frankenmuth Motel but saunter over as often as invited for forum events. Potluck Friday night: I have a big cooler, so I'm sure I'll think of something. See you next week!

It looks like we have the following:

- Me (JudyJB) - June 19 for three nights (1 adult)
- MelissaD - June 17 for five nights (3 adults plus 1 GB)
- Roadweaver - coming for a day (Need to verify)
- Newcomer Beazle (1 adult)

So, let's make it a very easy potluck. If Melissa can cook some burgers, I will bring a macaroni salad (vinaigrette with fresh vegetables) and maybe a watermelon. Eileen, maybe you can bring a dessert of some sort. We can all bring our own drinks.

Maybe 6:00 pm on Friday for the potluck?? Eileen, you can hang around with me, if you'd like. I will email everyone my cell phone number.

Sounds great. I'm down for the dessert & BYOB. I might sneak out a day earlier than originally planned so I'll call Judy when I get into town. She kindly sent me a PM with her phone number.

We had to modify our schedule, so we will arrive Friday (early afternoon) the 19 and leave Monday so only 3 nights.

I have a doctor appointment on Friday morning and will need to pick up some prescriptions. Also need to do some grocery shopping on the way.

It is only a couple of hours from my doctor and pharmacy to Frankenmuth, so I should be able to get there by about 3-4 pm. Will quickly make a pasta salad with lots of vegetables and a vinaigrette dressing. Any allergies I need to know about?

Had a great start to our GTG in Frankenmuth last night with a potluck dinner (too much food, as usual) and a lot of conversation. Melissa's rig and her crew are not too far from mine, and Eileen is staying across the road at a nearby motel. I let Eileen [edited] watch me hookup so she could see how simple it really is. I have no idea why people make others think this is a really complex task or difficult to do!

We're heading to Bronners to check out the Christmas shop and then to dinner this evening. In the meantime, I have work to do, so this will be short. Photos to be added later.

Note: It was Eileen that was educated on hook up procedures. I think I've figured it out by now

We had an enjoyable dinner and fun conversation. Chezza and Yogi got reacquainted

Yes, Melissa definitely knows how to hook up her rig! I was tired and put the wrong name in. Fixed now. Eileen is coming over soon to drive us to Bronner's and then dinner.

I am trying to give her the crash course in things to consider when she buys a motorhome, like one where you don't have to stick your head in the sanitary compartment to reach the hookup for the sewer!

Pictures pictures pictures! Chezza looks so cute hugging Yogi. I'm sure Eileen is learning all sorts of things, too.
