Sunday Day #7 in KS
Posted: Tue Sep 23, 2014 9:04 pmEarly Sunday morning I spotted an eagle perched on tree down from my site. My cheap, antique camera not good at zoom but got a fuzzy shot of him.
Then we had a breakfast gathering at Catherine's site. Here's Catherine making sausage gravy and Birdie cooking blueberry pancakes.
Anita and Sharon chatting over coffee. Belle even got out of her closet to join us.

Belle had to be restrained as she dove into the sausage links. Not sure if Belle changed hands before leaving KS or not.

Of course Karen also had to say bye to their pup (sorry, don't know his name)

Wind died down - this is a big event here in KS. Sharon, Tina, Peggy, Catherine and Birdie decided to take the kayaks out - I only got photo of those launching from Tina's site
And the only butt shot I got all week
I heard that Sharon did a rollover. Hope Tina managed to get picture of that event
This little guy was a frequent visitor at my site. Anyone know what type spider he might be?
Late afternoon we gathered for dinner. Food shot so Barbie doesn't think anyone went hungary

First evening the wind didn't chase us inside early so we tried a fire. Difficult but not impossible with damp wood.
We did finally get it going
