Early Sunday morning I spotted an eagle perched on tree down from my site. My cheap, antique camera not good at zoom but got a fuzzy shot of him.

Then we had a breakfast gathering at Catherine's site. Here's Catherine making sausage gravy and Birdie cooking blueberry pancakes.

Anita and Sharon chatting over coffee. Belle even got out of her closet to join us.

Sharon, Belle, Karen and Claudia waiting for breakfast.

Belle had to be restrained as she dove into the sausage links. Not sure if Belle changed hands before leaving KS or not.

Saying good bye to Barb and Kat

Of course Karen also had to say bye to their pup (sorry, don't know his name)

Carol and all 3 of her pups

Wind died down - this is a big event here in KS. Sharon, Tina, Peggy, Catherine and Birdie decided to take the kayaks out - I only got photo of those launching from Tina's site

And the only butt shot I got all week
Image

I heard that Sharon did a rollover. Hope Tina managed to get picture of that event

This little guy was a frequent visitor at my site. Anyone know what type spider he might be?

Late afternoon we gathered for dinner. Food shot so Barbie doesn't think anyone went hungary

We surprised Carol and Lynn for their birthdays
Cakeā€¦. No candles but note the Ruby Slippers

and the birthday gals

First evening the wind didn't chase us inside early so we tried a fire. Difficult but not impossible with damp wood.
We did finally get it going

Thanks for the food pics! Happy birthday to Lynn and Carol!

How big was that spider??

Glad to see Belle out and about finally! Can't blame her for diving into the food after being locked up in a closet for so long!

What ever happened to the GTG banner? Do we need a new one? Maybe should have a new one each year? Or may

More great pics of a wonderful-looking group of RVing women! This looks like such a fantastic spot for an event like this. I would love to find more campgrounds like this one with covered tables and cement pads next to the water like so many of those sites were. Thanks for posting all these!

I have loved looking at the wonderful pictures of the KS gtg. You all had so much fun. Thank you for sharing all the photos. I sure wish I could have been there, but it felt like I was there with all the great photos.

Sarah, you did a bang up job on taking photos and I for one felt as if I was there. One GTG I really hated missing, with gals from all over the country and some I hadn't met and would love too. Oh well, mid country GTG next year might be in order ??????? For those of us who would like to be at the next one, that CG looked ideal. Nice choice, Catherine .

Happy Birthday to the birthday gals, unusual cake, with the slippers, so glad everyone had such a great time, but then GTG's are always the best wherever and whoever manages to get there. Haven't had a bad one yet have we ??????

Thanks so much for the time spent in posting pics for us Sarah !!!!
CArol :)
