Day # 4 in KS

Thursday started out stormy but changed over by mid day to give us the best weather afternoon of the whole week so far.
Catherine and Anita arrived by early afternoon and Catherine quickly set up lunch for us - wonderful brisket sandwiches.

After lunch there was a lot of doggie meet and greet





Then we noticed the wind had stopped for the first time since Sunday. The lake turned glassy and there had to be kayak time

Tina and Sharon launched from back of Tina's site; Birdie went back to the other loop and launched from there

Finally got one of the white pelicans in a photo.


Just as the evening wine gathering started, we had a visit from ranger. Tina quickly convinced him we would not get too loud and that we would disappear to our own sites as dark fell.

Just a suggestion...it would be helpful if the pics could be labled as to who is in them. I recognize quite a few but there are some new gals there I don't know, and it would be helpful for the newbies on the forum, as well. Thanks!

I had intended to get names on this batch but signal in and out so much, was just hurrying to post before in went out again.
Will do my best to get names on next post. If that doesn't work,will go back and add names went I get back to area with better signal.
Lots more pics from today and at some point other ladies will post some of theirs. Know Tina will do a blog post when she can. She forgot to bring her MiFi so only has phone connection.
