Overall Rating (a scale of 1 – 10): 7
Pros: Large Park can usually accommodate with out reservations. Like many of the Lower Rio Grande Valley RV parks. Pool, hot tub, showers, rec room, nice large laundry, shuffleboard, horseshoes, Close to Nuevo Progresso for those wanting the Mexican experience. Near public golf course, Premium Outlet Mall, WalMart, HEB, restaurants (both chain and local mom and pop). One of the better rates for monthly. Longer you stay, cheaper the rent.
Cons: High crime from the heavy border crossing.
Comments: Never leave anything visible in your car when you go out. Never ever put anything in your trunk in a parking lot prior to going in to eat. I guarantee it will be broken into while you are in the restaurant.
