Ok....the Direct Link is different from the IMG link. Look back at your directions to me...you said to do the IMG.

Anyway, I've just done the Direct Link...and this time it worked.

BTW: when I tried the Direct Link before (remember before I was trying the Direct, IMG, and the HTML, because none of them were working, and all came back with either "Invalid," "Too Long," or "Invalid" respectively).

But NOW the Direct one worked!

Crazy!

Anyway, thank you for not giving up on me, and seeing it through!

Glad you got it, but I did go back and read and said the right thing in the one I read - that the img was working in the MESSAGE but you needed the direct in the avatar. No matter... you got it and your perseverance paid off - just like it will for finding YOUR right rv.

Leslie, in your signature picture, you have two sets of IMAGE codes.

If you delete the very first code [ img] and the very last code [ /img], your signature image should show up. However, it's really big...you may want to make it a bit smaller.

This has probably been asked before, but why does my photobucket image appear as a link in my signature? I resized it but I can't get it to show as an image. What am I doing wrong? It's always "user error" with me.

Where are you putting that link? You need to put it in the Avatar area - not in the text area of your signature.

I think that's what you've done - so go to the User Control Panel and select to edit your avatar ... put that link there.

Beth, thank you for your reply. I tried to do as you suggested but now I have lost the avatar photo that I had originally, and can't get it back. It's in my photobucket library but I keep getting the message that it's the wrong size. I go to edit and choose resize, then enter 90 for the largest dimension and save it, but I can't seem to get it.

I finally got it back. Actually, I didn't want to change my avatar photo but I wanted to add another, like when people have a pic of their rig by their signature.

Sorry - told you wrong ... for in the signature you need the IMG code like you put in a post.
