Posting Pictures

For adding info on your avatar: click on User Control Panel (top left corner)
when that page opens up you will see some tabs, click on Profile
Fill in any information you wish to let us know about you and click submit at the bottom.

On the left side of that same page, you will see where to edit signature, avatar and settings.

To post pics, I usually have two tabs open and go back and forth between the two. One is womenrv and the other being photobucket. Find the pic that you want to post, hold your curser over the pic, a box will open, at the bottom will be one that says IMG, highlight the text in that box and right click to copy it, then go back to your womenrv page, click on the reply box like you would anytime you want to comment, when that opens up, click to put the curser there,right click and paste, that should put the IMG there, you can click the preview and the pic should show up. You can add any words above or below your pic or add more pics also. You can click preview as many times as you want, and change as you want, then click submit.

Hi Carol,

If you have your pics in Photobucket the next step is simple. Just slide your cursor over the photo you want to add to your post here in the forum. Beneath the pic you will see text appear... One of the lines of text will be IMG code. Highlight that and CtrlC then go to your post and where you want your pic to show do CtlV. It should show a line of text in the message and when you hit Preview your photo shoud appear. If satisfied,... Hit Submit to post your message with pics!

For your signature, location, etc. ... at the top of the page in the light blue bar beneath the site banner which is in bright blue you will see User Control Panel. Click that and it will take you to a screen with several tabs. Click Profile. From there you can create everything you want.

Maybe this can help clear up some of the confusion. The important part when posting either an image or a link is that you have the parts in red (below). With Photobucket, when you copy the picture location, those IMG tags in red are included.

Some other places, where you're grabbing a photo, the red IMG tags MAY or MAY NOT be included, so you either type them by hand, or click on the Img button just above the white box where you are typing your reply here on the forum.

Either way, you need both the opening code and the closing code. If just one little item in the code is off or wrong, your post will be messed up. Does this help?

Thank you so much for everyone's help. I posted a pic of my B and will post pics of the furbabies. You may be sorry you showed me how to do it as I may go crazy posting pics. I'll try to control myself.

Oops, now I'm having a problem posting my pic in my avatar. I copied the pic's url, left the pixel sizes blank, but no pic came up. What did I do wrong?

Hey Beth,
Would you post the link/download you once gave me for photo resizing...that you could resize all at once. It worked great on my Toshiba....now want to see if it'll work on my Macbook? Don't remember the link.
