The question I have is how you know your RV is electrified? Since it says that inside you won't know...hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....

No different that touching a car with a live wire on it. As to the line being grounded - simple device you plug in can tell you that. There are lots of things that can kill us - but rarely do. Be proactive - but don't go crazy with getting scared. You could watch tons of stuff on houses about similar things. You wouldn't want to know how many places you've lived that have probably had bad wiring, etc, just waiting for a fire to happen. Somewhere on the forum are pictures of the devices to plug in - go look at the series of electrical posts in this thread - quit posting them every week - but if you find one, you can then read the rest of the series.

My motorhome has one of the power cords that I have to attach to the RV. Where it attached to the RV it was starting to look burnt and the rubber was melting. I had it checked and some ground inside had come loose. They said it could have caused a fire.
