He sure is cute. Does he like being brushed ? I just heard about a big ole Mane Coon cat who loved being vacuumed!

I really haven't tried brushing him. He keeps his fur so nice and clean and it feels like rabbit fur! I think he would like it tho since he loves being petted, rubbed and scratched all over.

You are better off familiarizing him, as a long hair cat with what brushing feels like while he is younger than when he is older. It's great he keeps himself well groomed, but that also means he is ingesting his hair and can lead to hair balls in future. It's also a good time to interact with him in a relaxing way. One of my two loves it, the other tolerates it and we have several different style brushes. Now that they are older, if I don't brush them every few days, they will throw up hair! Not fun to have on your bed!

I am all too familiar with fur balls and stepping on wet ones in the dark! So far none from him and he doesn't seem to shed much but maybe that is because he keeps himself well-groomed. I have some brushes from Lola that I can try on him.
