I read all your wonderful birthday wishes to The William, and he was very pleased. (No, I don't think it had anything to do with the treat in my hand!

Yes, he does look regal -- and now that he's old, he takes advantage of that! "Nobility does not come when called." I can just hear him thinking that when he carefully avoids looking in my direction when he's not ready to come indoors. It's true he's gotten somewhat hard of hearing . . . but he's gotten a lot hard of listening!
