Eileen's New Motorhome

Postby Colliemom » Mon Oct 17, 2016 7:12 pm

I'm posting this picture for Eileen (Beazle) as she hasn't had time to figure out how to post pictures on this site yet. This is her and her DH, Dave's new Motorhome. Believe me it's a beauty. She will be posting some inside pics before long.

That picture brings back fond memories -- I had a great time meeting Eileen, her DH and you Sue.

It is purdy - I'll vouch for that!

I told Eileen they should call it Megatron with the automatic levelers. Just like in the movies. :P

Hello all, thanks for the kind woshes about our rig. Sadly, now winterized for a few months. It's a Nexus Phantom, 31P, modified to meet our needs: twin beds so no rear slide, & entertainment center in place of overcab bed. A few other modifications, so it's just what we need. 31 feet 7 inches & we tow my elderly Honda Civic. I was quite nervous driving it initially, and find I do better (less anxious) when DH is NOT with me giving advice, LOL. With practice, including taking it through downtown Milwaukee freeways during rush hour, I found my "sea legs." Will try to find time on the laptop, rather than phone, to learn how to post pictures. A few were posted on Facebook already.
See you on the road, ladies! Know that it was only through the knowledge & inspiration of this group that I'm on the road at all!
