The blank space on my spare tire cover has been driving me crazy. Here is my solution. The sign shop thought it was great and it gave them a giggle.

Did you know that a member of this group, Louise, aka Roadweaver, goes by Geritol Gypsy on her blog?
http://roadweaver.blogspot.com/
If you google her tag Geritol Gypsy, her site comes up with the title The Geritol Gypsy as its header.

And of course there was Faith Petric who sang the song, she's on you tube and was mentioned recently here.

What I do wonder is, the woman's likeness you used, of course we have seen in cartoon characture pictures, so I wondered, did you need permission to use it, it's cute. It would describe many of us, both the picture and the words.

The sign shop I used checked and the phrase "Geritol Gypsy" is not copyrighted and he didn't use the entire Maxine image. Not going to worry about it unless I get a letter from some attorney somewhere. Also, its great advertising for Geritol assuming they even make the stuff anymore. Haven't actually seen Roadweaver's blog yet, too many blogs, too little time. When you get to be my age you don't sweat the small stuff. I've raised my kids and pretty much do what I damn well feel like it anymore. Getting old is great.
