As I have been looking I noticed that some manufacturers are beginning to offer "on demand" hot water. Just don't ask me which ones offered what  .......I am wondering if it would only work if you were hooked up to electric....

Or running your generator. Yes, they are electric units. I don't know if they have come out with a gas one yet..

From a quick search, yes, they come in a gas version. I need to read more about that.

Nice rig you got there, Mitch. Small, comfy, lightweight, easy to tow and cozy. I love cozy. That's my kind of camper. I like that little thing.

I don't post much, but wanted to say that I really like this trailer and floor plan. It's very similar to the Lance 1575. After retirement, and hopefully more travel, I would be very interested in that floorplan. Congrats!

Thirty years ago, we had a gas-powered on-demand hot water heater in our bathroom in Hong Kong. It worked fine! I don't know where you'd get one here, though . . .

I have on-demand hot water in my Free Spirit SS. It works on propane and doesn't need to be connected to shore power. I love it. It seems to use very little propane and you can have the water as hot or warm as you desire. One caveat - the water flow from the shower head needs to be adequate gal per minute. When I turn on the shower I put the little shower head dial to a hard stream, let it run for about 5 seconds, then turn it to spray. If there is not an adequate rate of flow the heater will turn on and off, and you'll get alternating hot cold and have to jump in and out of the shower. As long as you know how to use it, it's wonderful. I can take a pretty long shower without running out of hot water. There are so many features on my new RV that I really like.
