little extra counter space

whenever I need a little extra counter space, like when I'm cooking, I pull out my
top drawer and have a nice board that fits across it. Works like a charm and when
I don't need it, the board fits in the closet.

One of my drawers in the Roadtrek has a shelf that pulls out and covers it, creating extra counter space...similar to what you invented.
