Shirl has picked what will be her new favorite spot after the move.

The sun porch!

Thanks Beth, all that porch needs is a few plants. Lol. You will notice the cat door in the porch door. That is for son-in-law’s friend, Garfield the diabetic cat. Son-in-law hollers “Garfield come get your shot” and he jumps up on the counter, gets his shot and a treat. Lol I’m told he does it for the treat but I think he is very intelligent.

My first thought when I saw the pic was it needs your plants! And, yes, cats are quite smart.

That is awesome! I love porches! Looks like a perfect spot for your plants, and for relaxing and reading a good book!
And no bird ladies to ruin your outdoor experience! :D

I wish I had a sun porch. You will love it. I can't have a cat door so that means I am the butler to the cats. In and out all day long.

Last spring I was at #1 daughter, everyone was at work. I sat on the porch, enjoying natures sights and sounds. Garfield came in from outside and stood staring at me the whole time I was there. Later told daughter about her guard cat. She ask where I was sitting. Turns out I was in Garfield’s spot. I will check with him to see where he prefers to lay now. Lol
