Cleaning Oven

Postby SoCalGalcas » Mon Dec 11, 2017 12:25 pm

Hi, I have a bad habit of making little notes when I read something interesting, then leaving the note on my desk to get lost in the mess of papers on my desk.

I just found this about oven cleaning....take: 2 oz of Dawn, 4 oz of lemon juice, 8 oz of white vinegar, 10 oz of water. place in bowl and set in oven over night. Then wipe clean.

I have not tried it. If someone does try it, let me know how it works. Thanks, lyn

I haven't heard of that one Lyn. I just make a paste of baking soda and water and put all over any places in the oven that need cleaned. You may need a brush for some places. Close the door and wait till morning and wipe off all the yuck. You can use a spray bottle of water if some places don't look damp enough. Has worked well for me.
