Great photos, as usual!

I am going to be in Nova Scotia in late September and am planning my trip right now. I need electric and WiFi because I have to work as I travel, but can you suggest some places to stay? (Could have one or two days in a row without WiFi if the place is spectacular.) The books say the Cabot Trail takes 8 hours to drive, so I figure that means two or three campgrounds along the way. I have tentatively 9 days planned for Nova Scotia. I know it is not long enough, but I might be able to squeeze in a couple of extra days.

Thanks

Beautiful, Liz.
I'd love to visit Nova Scotia again someday. I was there 21 years ago (work-related) & would love to go back.
Thanks for the reminder of its beauty.

Tim Hortons Doughnut shops have WiFi. Many of the restaurants have WiFi. We stayed at a couple of PA parks with WiFi. Walmarts have free WiFi from their parking lot. I'm using it now…pretty good signal. Two cgs in the Highlands National Park have FHU…first and last cgs along the trail, but no WiFi. We really enjoyed the Provincial Park cg in Shelburne along the waterfront (no hookups). The office has WiFi, but we went to Tim Hortons.

That's a good idea, but I see only two Tim Hortons on the Cabot Trail: one in Cheticamp on the northwest coast and one on the southern end in Sydney. I also found one in Shelburne, so will consider that. I have tried to plan this between semesters, but th first half of the 9 days is the end of the semester, so I will have things to grade and grades to turn in.

I don't really need full hookups, but I do like electrical if I can get it. I will check out Shelburne Provincial Park.

Thanks

You will find restaurants along the Cabot Trail with WiFi…some good some bad signals, but the seafood is consistently good. Private cgs will have hookups and maybe WiFi…we stayed in the NP cgs along the Cabot Trail.
