Hello, ladies.
I'm a newbie, former lurker in Wisconsin. I just retired a month ago so still trying to find a rhythm for this new phase. No RV yet, but it's on the 2016 agenda. Married, retired nurse, interested in sewing and quilting as well as exploring the country via RV. Happy to be a part of this group of experienced travelers and hoping to keep on learning from your accumulated knowledge.

Hoosier Welcome :D

Hope you enjoy this next phase of life. So many ways to RV, we each need to determine our own style, wants and needs.

Welcome from SoCal! Try and make a couple or more GTG's...you can learn a lot and tour different rigs, ask questions and someone will for sure let you dump!

Thank you for all the welcoming posts. I think a GTG might be a good way to jump in with both feet! The Frankenmuth one looks interesting-Frankenmuth is so charming- and they have cabins and tent sites for poor relations like me! I'll have to think about that. Tomorrow DH & I are leaving for a Circle Tour road trip around Lake Michigan: rushing waterfalls, hiking sand dunes...no agenda beyond what we feel like at the moment. Probably take 10 days in all. Anybody on that route?
Thanks again for the warm welcomes and stay safe out there, please!

Hi Eileen. A hearty welcome here from northern Michigan. See you were going to take a tour of Lake Michigan. Don't know if you did ignore not, but you would have come within about 50 miles of me. I'll be heading through WInnext month o n my way west. Go to the U.P. A lot, so maybe we can GTG later this summer.
