Sony eReader

I asked Liz to show me her Sony eReader when she was here. It's a very nice reader and seemed easy to use. I believe you have to have a computer to download the books, then transfer to the reader. Best Buy and Amazon sells them. I just saw the Nook is being sold at Best Buy online, too. All prices are still about the same...comparable to each other.

Yes, the Sony EReader is like the Nook in that you can use any books on it. Only the Kindle (that I know of) is proprietary. Sony learned from their BetaMax way back when.
