I might be late to the party, but just came across the Maisie Dobbs mystery series by
Jacqueline Winspear. It’s set in the aftermath of WWI England. Really enjoying Maisie.
Lyn, hope you will let us know the series you are reading!

I'm currently listening on Audible to the Maisie Dobbs mystery 'In This Grave Hour' by Jacqueline Winspear. I also have listened to 'Elegy for Eddie' and the 'Mapping of Love and Death'. All very good !

Another series I'm enjoying reading on Kindle is the cozy murder mysteries by Jeanne M. Dams mostly set in England and Scotland.

I think I have read all of the Maisy Dobbs books. I have enjoyed them very much. No one has mentioned Jean Grainger. I mentioned her several months ago.
Now, I am reading “A Gentleman in Moscow”. I am only part way into the book, but wanted to let others know how much I am enjoying it. It is nothing like I imagined, and I must keep my dictionary handy!!! My vocabulary is nothing compared to the authors.

Lyn, I also have that one currently sitting next to my chair. It is different but enjoyable. I also just finished "Horse" by Geraldine Brooks.

I want to get “Horse” from the library. Let me know how you like it. I loved her book “People of the Book”.
I have finished “A Gentleman in Moscow”. It wasn’t the best book I have ever read, but it was a very enjoyable read. I am unable to write a synopsis without giving the plot away. Maybe Tina can help out here?
