Vanishing Acts by Jodi Picoult

Okay, to save you the bother of reading it. Don't bother. I read the first couple of chapters and thought, oh yes! Then I plodded on, gave up and skipped to the end. Boring as he77. For instance, the main character is supposed to have all these flashbacks to a life she can't recall, then one evening a policeman arrives at her door.... Well she had one flashback. Tells her male friend about it. He googles it and immediately comes up with the fact she was kidnapped and her father did it. That evening the father is arrested. It's as if Jodi couldn't wait to get to the main story. She should have waited, because after that excitement, there is only the trial. No thanks.

Aw, that's too bad. But at least you saved the rest of us from reading it :)
