I really loved this book by Elizabeth Forsythe Hailey. So many of the newer books just aren't as well written and the proof reading :o This was written in the seventies and although at first I though I wouldn't like the fact that it was a series of letters, it turned out to be one of my favorite books.

Thanks for recommendation BJ! (Also made into a movie with Sally Field but I can't find a rental).
