New York City

I wasn't sure where to post this, but seeing as Louise and Peggy get to go to NYC often, I thought this was the place to put my recommendation. The series of books I'm recommending are by LINDA FAIRSTEIN. She writes murder mysteries and they all take place in NYC.

She is a former prosecutor with the NYC police dept for 20 years, was born in NYC and knows the history of the city. One of the things I like about her books is that they all contain interesting historical facts about the city.

I've only been there, in the city, three times but loved it each time. I spent more time in the American Museum of Natural History than the library, but would love to go and spend time in the library after reading the last book I have just finished.
