This book, The Dream Lover, by Elizabeth Berg was a very good read. It is the life of George Sand. However, it is written in the style of an autobiography. The author called it a fictional novel because there is so much conflicting information about George Sand she found when researching that she just "made up" info to fill in the conflicts. I enjoyed it immensely and recommend it to anyone who likes history. lyn
