finished, although I still need to sit down with it and trim off any threads and tack the corners where I turned
the bias. The machine didn't do a very good job of making the turn cause the fabric at that point was thick, so
I just tacked once with the machine and made the turn.

Gracie trying hard to get in on that act, notice her little head in the corner.

I LOVE that! I'm not much into traditional either and I think that's just perfect! He's gonna be the best wrapped baby in town!

Wonderful job! I love baby quilts. Now we need to see the afghan when you finish it. That baby is going to be good and warm. Loved your helper too.

Ava, that's really cute and it didn't take you any time at all to get it done. You should consider making them to sell. You could go to a craft show or baby boutique and show them some and see if anybody would hire you to make some for them to sell.

thank you everybody for your wonderful comments. I love making the quilts but I'd definately have to replace my good machine with something
else good for quilts. This little one was a bear to work with around the bias. It will be fine though for when I make my new curtains for the rv.
The baby's (Jack) next quilt will be for his regular size bed, which will be a full size bed.
