Frame to cover ugly switches and quilt

Postby asirimarco » Thu Oct 23, 2008 9:08 am

Not long after we bought Alfie the company started to do this. In the bedroom we have a bunch of ugly switches on the wall next to the bed. So Bill built a frame around them to cover them with a picture - it can be opened just like a box.

Another great idea. Sure looks better than all those switches.

Carol,
There is obviously no limit to Bill's creativity and talent. His carpentry skills border on artistry in my estimation!

Carol you must have a early version of the Alfa, all the newer ones have the same picture frame box around all the switches.
I'll have to find a photo of mine or tke a new one.

Neat idea; also works for stick houses. I did a similar project to hid a large breaker box when we had to upgrade our electrical service at a former home.
