Well I've been searching to find something simple but pretty.. and not so difficult to put together... I think I've found it..

Appreciate a few comments if ya don't mind.. What ya think.. This would be made up as a table runner so in other words

a wide strip from one end to the other..with a little over hang maybe..

Nice thing this is done in sections..aaaaah no heavy mess on the lap till the end..Sounds good to me !

Okie dokie..

God Bless
Zeee

PS and I'm sure gonna need it cause it's a whole lot of counting and tiny crochet hook....where's me glasses...

oh yea, that would be beautiful, it looks sort of like a bunch of round granny type squares,
that would certainly make it easy to put together. Good choice Barb.

Cool! Tell ya what...I'll be your guinea pig...make the first one for me...and then after you have the pattern down the one you make for yourself will be perfect! Great idea...huh? ;) I only crotchet with four ply yarn and nothing smaller than a G hook! Been working on one baby blanket for over three years.

Now that sounds like my style of crocheting! Took me about forever to do a granny square blanket to fit her queen sized bed. I had to keep hiding it on myself so I wouldn't go off the deep end and rip it all apart.

I keep thinking that I would like to learn to knit. But I'm kinda worried that it would be just like crocheting for me! Take forever and hiding it periodically on myself!

Very nice Barbzee....I have tons of "hooked on crochet" magazines...need to dig them out as I did so enjoy making doilies.
What color are you planning on doing it in?

Ok, now Pat wants one and Vickie wants one...are you gals giving out measurements ??????? Don't do like one of my sisters.. I make the dang thing and she gets rid of her table...before I finished :o

The color I'm doing this in..is called Ecru.. (beige) and I'm just gonna make one motif and I'll post the picture of how it looks...but wow I bet it's gonna take lots and lots...hahaha..I'll be like Rip Van Wrinkle..by the time I get it done.... and Yes, I wroke Wrinkle..cause I will be full of them hahahaha

Liz... I didn't know much either..but I can bluff alot.. ... I just learned how to read patterns..but I still go by what the picture looks like ..

Okie dokie to the crochet hook ....retirement is sure a tuff life
