Jewelry Wreath

This was made using old pieces of broken jewelry and inexpensive pieces found at yard sales, thrift stores, etc.
Wreath form was purchased at a craft store. Cover the form with a little batting then some scrap fabric. Most pieces of the jewels are hot glued on, a few are pinned.
Can be made any size. This has a 12" diameter. The finished piece weighs about 5 pounds.
My cousin recently made this one. Thought it was pretty cleaver use of something one might otherwise toss.

What a great idea for old jewelry! You can look at all the stuff, and remember some family member wearing it perhaps, instead of having it all tucked away in a jewelry box, out of sight. I love this idea.

Sure beats the add that says, "Send us all your old gold and diamonds in an envelope and we will send you some cash for it!" Are those people NUTS?????

That's really pretty. I remember my mom making Christmas ornaments by covering those styrofoam balls w ith old jewelry.

Your very talented. What a original idea. I see lots of women on here have many talents. I am new to this group so I haven't added any yet.

that is such a neat idea, and if you can't find enough jewelry, then ornate buttons would also be great on this piece.
