The deck in progress

all framed out

nice wide steps to the back yard, and the little patch of dirt next to the fifthwheel and steps will have
a nice flowerbox.

getting ready to stretch the shade cloth on the top

at the part where the door would be open, there are pickets up there, have gotten those done but the
picture only shows them leaning up there.
The decking is not attached yet, still need to flip them over and paint the back side and put in the little pieces
that will make the step into the rv "not" a gap. Haven't decided what exactly I'm going to put on the side, maybe
more pickets or maybe lattice. I'm kind of leaning towards pickets cause everyone in the park has lattice and well..
I just want to be different 8-)
I'll post an update when its all finished.

That's looking really good. Will be nice when it's all finished. Be sure to post some pics when you're done. I think pickets would be nicer too. I've gotten tired of the lattice. Seems like it's everywhere.

Great work. One question. Why did you go with wider steps to the back but not to the front? Enquiring mind :-)

Wider steps in the back....more open access to the patio and back yard. The back will get more use with me and Maggie. The front is only an entry point for me or someone knocking on the door. And besides...its what I wanted :D

this could be movable...if I were to pull out of my space, I'd just jack it up enough to put some wood closet rods under it so
I could roll it away, which is what I plan on doing if I ever trade this in for a motorhome.
