Cherry Creek State Park

Some pics from my weekend. The weather was warmer, so it was busier this weekend. Many coyotes and deer traveling past the RV.

Nice looking park. I too love all the deer in the park. Winter camping!

great site,... and looks like the winter camping was a good time. No campgrounds here in the Adirondacks stay open in the winter. you are lucky1 :D

memories!!!! I used to ice skate there when I was a teenager, Cherry Creek is quite
a popular place to go and right in town. Used to do field trips there with the kids
from the school as they would do the nature trail. Sure loved those big cottonwood
trees, except when they were puffing cotton! that of course was murder on my
eyes.

I know! I've been in Denver since 2004 and this was my 4th time there. I was missing out on all that wonderful stuff! It took buying an RV to get my lazy rear over there. Didn't see anyone ice-skating, but there were quite a few ice fisherpeople. 2-8" supposed to hold people, but I prefer when they measure ice in feet.

Beautiful spot Amy, and Jess is absolutely gorgeous!
