After getting my recliner fixed today, I visited the Catty Shack after seeing it listed as the top attraction in the Jacksonville area. It is a big cat rescue organization with maybe a couple dozen tigers and an assortment of other cats. It is a small place, so open only a couple of days a week, but you might want to look them up if you are looking for a place to visit in this area.

I enjoyed my visit and would go back here again. They are a bit cramped and absolutely have no space for more animals, but are looking for funding for a bigger place so they could build larger enclosures.

Check today's posting on my blog below for photos.

Thanks for sharing the tour. Funding must be a big job for them.... :?

Just got caught up on your blog. That looks like a neat place to visit. Hope they can get the money they need for more land.
