Blue Beacon Truck & RV Wash

This isn't exactly a gadget but it is a "thing". (Really, it's a service.) I have always been afraid of truck washes because the ones I saw had big brushes even on the top and I was afraid they would damage stuff on my roof. Anyway I found this chain which offers washes to RVs and does them just with wands and soft brushes. Have had two washes so far this summer and fall. They got ALL the bugs off and charge only $35 for my over-30 Foot vehicle. I think it is $28 for shorter. No streaking on windows although no drying.

Much cheaper than "detailing" guy who was going to charge me $150 to come to my campsite!!! You wait in line behind big semis but wait has been only about 15 minutes.

Anyway thought some of you might want to know about this chain.

I am too short and getting too old to wash my big vehicle anymore!

I've been using them for years. They don't do the roof and don't use high pressure, are affordable and get the job done. Their rates are a tad higher in some locations, but reasonable. I know we've talked about them before, but who knows how long it's been. Good reminder!

I got the app after seeing it on a list on a blog last week, but sadly there are no Blue Beacon places close by. Maybe if we travel cuz I sure need to find a place to clean and polish my van and I sure don't have time or energy at moment. The app is very easy to use though.
