Icy Wet Tuesday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Icy Wet Tuesday

Good Morning. Quite the mess around Michigan this morning. Ice storm warnings, Winter Weather Advisories, Flood Watches and Warnings, you name it, this current storm has it all. All schools are closed in the northern half the lower and a number in the eastern Upper Peninsulas. Warmer air is moving in, so wiil improve things later this morning. But we don’t need the heavy rains some areas are getting. The snow pack melting has already caused the rivers to rise and with the ground frozen, there’s no place for the water to go. I’ve noticed eastern areas of WI in same situation. So good day to stay inside.

Pat, was nice to see your post yesterday. Seems all’s well with you and family. I too enjoyed seeing the pics from Hardee Lakes. Thanks to Sarah and Liz for posting them. You gals all had a great time.

Nothing exciting happening here today. Just bit of spring cleaning and ordering some things and just letting the day flow. Have a nice one everybody.

Good morning Sue and all who follow,
Martha, I just read your pm and I apologize for not acknowledging sooner, but I don't log in every time I read posts, so I didn't see it. Anyway, I'm in Florida! Spent yesterday at the Dodge dealer getting a new crank shaft sensor installed as opposed to the new cam shaft sensor installed in AZ. This dealer feels quite certain this will solve the chugging problem. Here's hoping.
Anita, Maggie, Sarah and everybody else in Florida. I will be at Holden Mine Campground in Withlachoochee Forest for the next three nights. Where are you. Beverly and I don't know where we will be on the weekend. Finding sites on the weekend is challenging. Enjoy today Peggy

Warm and windy here actually too warm for this time of year but will enjoy. Heavy rains are coming though the weatherman says. They called and said our taxes are ready to pick up, I don't think I'm ready, I forgot to pay the quarterly estimates this year ACK I do not want to see the results.
I had Emma spayed last Tuesday and asked for sedatives to help keep her quiet. I think I should have just taken them myself as they didn't do much for her! The stitches come out Friday and I can't wait to send her out to run off some of this energy. She will not leave little Mitzi alone. They used to play together all the time but Emma is too big and too rough with her now so instead of keeping her and Toby separate I have to keep her and Mitzi separate much of the time. IT is a three rind circus around here. Next week I'm taking her to a small obedience class ran by a very good trainer who has trained dogs since the late sixties. She is not only good with dogs, she even has her horses bucket trained so she doesn't have to muck the stalls so often! Guess I should go take her for a walk before the rain starts. She chewed through her last harness yesterday but it was a Lupine Pet brand that has a replacement guarantee. :)

Good morning
Going on an adventure today with Cheryl and Eileen. Hope to see the Salt River horses. I know where they hang out and hopefully there will be at least a few. Maybe even some babies!
I started to put things in order yesterday but I didn't get very far. I did however get a repair done on a drawer and got my tsnirts put back away. Really need to sort through bathroom products, lotions etc and get that all down to a manageable amount. The clutter is making me crazy. My mind wanders in so many directions lately I don't know where I'm going. I'm sure as time goes on it will eventually sort itself out. So, for today , getting out and about is probably good for me.
Y'all have a great day, be safe.

Peggy, what a name, Withlachoochee. Sure hope you can get your van fixed this time.

It looks like it's going to be another warm day. Yesterday it was 82 and it's already 77. It was very windy yesterday and it looks like it's still windy. Last night we had a storm for about 5 minutes. I don't know where that came from. I looked on the radar and it didn't show any rain in this area. I think we have rain moving in tonight.

It's about time to head to town. I need to go to Walmart, much as I hate to go there. It's so easy to just stop at the locally owned grocery store to pick up a couple of things but they are about a $1 an item higher than Walmart. I heard yesterday that some Winn-Dixie's are closing. We only have 4 grocery stores and that's one of them.

Morning! I've just decided that I'm going to head to the east side casino.... The one with the Planes Trains and Automobiles, LOL... It's closer to the dealers which is why I spent a night there last time. Right now I'm still in my robe... Another lazy morning. It looks like the cold front moving through has decided it's going to linger most of the week. At least the wind from yesterday is gone.

Back to edit... Changed my mind, just staying put today. Had to move my rig before 8 this morning... Security knocked on the doors to all of us in one lot. They are doing something to that lot and needed to clear it. Love that I could just get behind the wheel, in my robe, and drive to the next two lots, pick a new spot, then join Peaches back in bed.

Good morning gals :D .

Sunny and no wind this morning. Supposed to stay cool (50's) all week with a chance of rain thru the week. I don't mind as long as the sun is out for most of the time.

Have most of the day off today. Don't have to go in to work until 5. I started painting the kitchen yesterday, so will work on that today again. I have the next two days off so will hopefully stay motivated and get a lot of my little projects done. I really need to get my storage unit cleared out this week too. I have enough room in my little storage shed to put most of it and the rest can come in the house.

I am a little worried about Lola. She seems kind of depressed or something lately. Physically she seems fine but she just lays around and has no interest in playing or looking out the window. Just sleeps a lot. I know she is getting older but she shouldn't be changing that quick. I will keep an eye on her for now and see how she does. I may have to bring her in someplace tho and get her checked over just to be sure.

Hope you all enjoy your day!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Barbie, sorry to hear you are worried about Lola. The vets have something they want to do now called a Senior Profile. They check the blood and urine. I don't much like to put my cats through it but guess they are trying to catch things before they become a problem. We have always called Frosty the great white hunter because he would leave in the morning an be gone all day. Lately he has been hanging close to home. He goes out on the porch for a while and comes back in for a nap. Guess I will have to watch him to see if he needs to go to the vet.

This morning the collar on my shirt kept bothering me. I finally looked in a mirror and my shirt was on inside out. Good thing I didn't show up at the nursing home like that. They could just move me right in.

What is with our fur babies not being well... Dang it anyway. Hope your kitties are ok... Barbie and Martha.

Martha I cracked up with your comment about your shirt. I saw someone the other day in a store with theirs inside out... Probably should have said something but i think I only noticed because we were close in line... And I guess I didn't want to embarrass the person.
