Sunny Sunday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sunny Sunday

Gmorning all :)

Yes, Linda, nice to see you back! & maybe I'll see you in FL this year?

So today is our coldest of this deep freeze, BUT tomorrow we start a January thaw, hooray! I'll have warmer weather to get HarBor organized this week. Cousin returns next Sat, so my dog-sitting duty will be over, & I'm tentatively planning to head south on Sunday--just a week from now! Feeling a return to "myself" just knowing I'll be on the road:)

Hope everyone continues to do well--seems like most posts have been of a positive nature? CArol, congrats on your new home! So nice that, in the past several months, 4-5 of our forum family have found their perfect places to set down new roots:) Alice, your place is out there just waiting for you:)

Y'all have a great day & be safe wherever you are 8-)

My friend, here, took me out for Italian dinner, last night. It was yummy and had such a nice visit with them. They made me such a great deal that I'm planning to stay until Tues afternoon, then head up to Miccosukee Casino, north of Homestead, for a couple of nights. If anyone is close, would love the company!

Liz, I put you on my list and a dot on my map. I would love to visit you and do some kayaking! Do you have a place for me to park my little ZENella? I'd have to either borrow or rent a kayak. Would love to do some hiking, too. Sue, I agree that Keystone would be a great place for a GTG! We do have mini gtg's, but maybe you could organize a bigger one since you are a regular on here. Any summer travel plans for you, Lyn? It was so good to see you last summer! I'll miss seeing everyone in Quartzite, but hope to go with Vicki and Dave to the GTG at Hardee Lakes. Would be great to see some of you that I've met and meet some more sistahs!

It's overcast here but still 60. The radar shows some rain to the West of us so we might get some showers. It's suppose to warm up to 70 by Thursday and then it's going to freeze again. Our roller coaster weather.

Hank has been barking all morning because the guy that has calves here was worming them. He doesn't bark at anything but someone messing with cows. He would love to be in the thick of it.

I forgot to get a file box so I can start new files for this year. Darn, have to start income tax again.

Good morning
Things are still a work in progress but take a break very soon to hang out in Quartzsite. I really
need the break.
Weather is so nice I need to get dressed and get out in it.
Y'all have a great day and hope you get a nice weather day too.

I drove up to Laguna Beach this morning to meet up with Catherine for the day. We met at Starbucks and then walked around town to the different shops. Lots of cool art galleries there. It is a real artists' town. Then we ate lunch at Johnny Rockets which was delicious! From there we walked along the beach and took photos. Very, very picturesque shoreline there! Love that area!
After we parted ways, I stopped at a marine rescue place but they didn't have many animals there (a good thing) just a couple of seals recooperating from injuries. Then I stopped at Victoria Beach just south of town to see the famous midieval looking tower on the beach there. It was really cool and the beach was beautiful! Lots of huge rocks with the waves splashing up around them. It was a hard place to find and not much parking but really worth it!

So it was a really fun day which I needed after being so busy with the house lately! Thanks Catherine for spending the afternoon with me! We'll have to do it again!

Thanks for the pics, Barbie. Why have I never heard of that tower before? That very kewl. And I love the sea anemone pic! Greet that you two could meet up today.
