Pat, sounds like you are having a lot of fun with your grandkids!

Martha, am so sorry to hear about Harold. Take care of yourself too. Don't be afraid to ask for help taking care of him if needed. It is hard physically and emotionally to do all yourself.

Martha is this all from the stroke or something else going on?
take care of yourself as well you will be able to better care for him if you do

Thinking of you Martha and sending you my best thought for strength and patience. The Harold you have always discribed has been stubborn and wanting to stay active and independent.....even when best judgments might have worried about his choices. :roll: His not being able to do along with the added memory issues has to be a dramatic change for himself and all around him.....

Him losing his independence is one of the biggest issues and not having the judgment to see that he can't drive or go to the barn in the middle of the night.
