Dear dear Irmi, I know the pain of such a loss... and also the joy in knowing he is in heaven with your mom.
May God hold your hand and heart just now...

Me and My Shadow send you much love...

Use today wisely it's all you have; yesterday is a memory; tomorrow a dream... KLW[/b][/color]

I'm so sorry, Irmi. It's good that you and your family had the opportunity to spend time with him, now it's your Mom's turn again.

not exactly a good morning ....so sorry for your loss Irmi, strength for you and family as you get through these next
few days.
A little overcast this morning so much cooler at least until it burns off. Have been out since 6 getting some much needed
work done outside.
Ya'll have a great day.

Irmi, keep all the great memories fresh in your mind as you deal with the next few days, weeks and months ahead. He is now pain free and happily reunited with your mom.
Glad you were able to get back home and spend time with him before he passed.

..........................................

Another gorgeous day here! Sunny, breezy, mid 70's, low humidity. Perfect! :D Could just sit out on this deck all day long!!

Got a lot done yesterday moving. Had help from one of my co-workers and her boyfriend so that helped a lot!. Just back getting the little left over stuff before cleaning the place. I really like the new place but it faces west so got really hot in the afternoon and evening and even with the central air, was warm in there all night. There is a ceiling fan in the bedroom so that helped a lot.

Lola is still upset. She woke me up in the middle of the night crying and crying and wandering around all over. She finally crawled under the covers at the foot of the bed and went to sleep. She only does that when she is scared. Hopefully she will get more comfortable in the next few days.

Planning to get Chelsea back sometime today! Have her cage all set up and ready for her.

Now I have to peel myself off this deck and go back inside to finish up the last minute packing

My dad is causing more issues lately but too complicated to explain right now. His mind is definitely going

Have a good day :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Just wanted to express my condolences...As everyone has said all the comforting words to you that I could not have put together as well... those of us who have lost our Dads can surely feel your sorrow... remember the happy times & the fact that you were a loving daughter & did your best for both of your parents.... God bless ...

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. This has always helped me:

A soul prepared needs no delay,
The summons comes the saint obeys.
Quick was the flight and short the road,
He closed his eyes and woke with God.

You and your family will be in my prayers.
