Grape Salad

Grape Salad

Postby dpf » Mon Sep 03, 2012 11:14 am

3# seedless grapes, green or red...remove from stems.

Dressing:
1 8 cream cheese (regular, low fat or no-fat)
1 8 ounce sour cream (regular, low fat or no-fat)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla

Beat together and pour over grapes. You can add 1/4-1/2 cups of pecans also.

When I have some leftover but not enough for a meal I've been known to add a cut up peach, a cup of cantaloupe or strawberries to stretch it!
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

Pat, Made this the other day and it was really very good.. in fact I'm gonna make up a big bowl
for hubby to take with him on Sunday as he teaches Sunday School and afterwards...they have a brunch..and
I'll make up cards with recipe as the ladies of the church always do that when they bring a covered dish or dessert.

Again thanks for this neat treat :)

If you use the no-fat cream cheese and sour cream, it will be. Then use the brown sugar Splenda, it will be low-sugar - ahhh why bother
