This Morning's Contribution To The Trash Bin

No-Knead bread, cooked in that yellow DO, which was preheated to 400 degrees.
I should have done the 450 per the recipe, but I burned my last experiment, and now this loaf is pale.
This one was proofed for 20+ hours on the counter (covered) and then another 10 hours in the fridge.
Two more hours shaped and covered on the counter this morning.

After I taste a small slice, I'm going to mail it to Vickie since she's always yelling at me to not throw it out!

32 hours to make a loaf of bread, heck I'd preserve it some way and put it on the counter! Maybe you should use some of your face cream, see if it would work any better on the bread! :o

I tried some of the no-knead bread and I didn't have any luck with it. Decided I am fat enough, I don't need bread and butter every day anyway.

I put the loaf back in the oven on convection 400 and it browned up beautifully. Let it cool a bit. It was delicious!
IT HAD TO BE TOSSED...

I'm with Martha but after smelling it cook, don't think I could resist eating it. Not much in the world tastes better than fresh baked hot bread.
The only major handicap in life is a bad attitude!

That looked good to me, I'm one of those who can take just a bite and toss something if I know I shouldn't eat it, even if I like it. I can also save it for days and eat a little at a time, drives DH craZy!

I vote for freezing the loaves and then taking them to the GTG and sharing! :D

I can do that (once I get the technique perfected!)

And I sure hope the apples are better this year so I can prove to Sharon I really make a wonderful Apple Cake!
I plan to bring her another one this fall...

Hmmmm...do we really want to put all of our friends in the hot seat??? Besides, the recipes are so different it wouldn't be a fair test...I think you should just use my recipe.
