Homemade Baileys Irish Cream

Homemade Baileys Irish Cream

Postby avalen » Sat Dec 18, 2010 6:47 pm

1 teaspoon Coconut Extract

2 Tablespoons Hershey's Syrup

1 Cup Bushmils Irish Whisky

1 can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk (you heard me right)

1/2 Pint Regular Flavor Coffee Mate

1 Packet of Splenda Mocha Mix (flavoring)

2 eggs

Blend all ingredients in a blender until well blended. Refrigerate until cold and serve very cold. Be prepared to make more

Now, I haven't tried this but the thought is very intriguing if I ever get time.

Is Mitch out trying to mix it up for us so she can test it and report? :)

OMG - I never saw this post before just now (Saturday 1/1/11 night)

I gave up making homemade Bailey's YEARS (literally) ago. Never could get it just right...
However, Kahlua - don't know why anyone would ever buy it. Homemade tastes the same as the original.

Wine - won't do it. Impossible for me to make dry wine. So, Vickie - SHUT UP!

Beer - LOTS of work. Two batches were out of this world delicious. Next two sucked. Gave up.
