Freeze Italian Garden Sauce (Walmart) in an icetray.
Remove and place in freezer bag.

Boil and drain one package of Ramen Noodles. (throw seasoning away)
Heat 2 frozen sauce cubes (10 seconds) Pour over noodles

Fast and delicious.

Great idea! Those flavor packets are lousy anyways. I suppose you could use any kind of sauce you wanted. I like quick food fixes!

..

Or send the seasoning packet to me!

I take the seasoning packet and throw away the noodles. It's a part of my favorite salad dressing - EVOO, seasoned rice vinegar, and the packet of seasoning. Post-diabetes, it's my dressing of choice for the daily salad...

Good suggestion, especially for those of us who no longer cook much.
Mitch - you can't have Ramen noodle packets - way too much salt (I love them anyway).

I know. Gotta have some sort of guilty pleasure, though!
Did you ever eat fake eggs with NO salt? To quote Soos, ACK!

MMMMMMMMMM, Think I would have to give up eggs before I could get the fake ones down. Hopefully they have improved them by now but I tried some of the powdered ones (many, many years ago) and they were awful plus the greenish tint made it worse. That is not the color I want my eggs.

If you want to eat some awful eggs, try the ones in MRE's. I tried some after Hurricane Rita.... just couldn't do it.

What's the matter with eating REAL eggs? This is a good article showing research from the JAMA that eggs in moderation are not a health risk unless you eat them raw. I've never eaten Ramen noodles, can't get past the smell!

You don't like green eggs and ham?? (wasn't that a Dr. Seuss book?)

Yes it was his book but didn't make the eggs any better.

What section do you find Italian Garden Sauce in? Since Wal-Mart rearranged everything I get my exercise looking for stuff. Someone told me they did it to make the aisles wider. Our Wal-Mart has managed to create a bottleneck in the pet food area by parking pallets of dog food at the ends of 3 aisles.

I found it where you buy Spaghetti Sauce. It is the Great Value brand. Name is Italian Garden Pasta Sauce and it is chunky.
