Crock Pot Baked Ziti

Baked Ziti in Crock Pot

1 pound ground beef ( I used ground turkey
1 med onion chopped
2 tsp dried Italian Seasoning
2 jars pasta sauce ( I used my own sauce )
15 oz Ricotta
1 c parmesan cheese
1 c mozzarella cheese
1 box Ziti Noodles

Cook onion and beef, stir in italian seasoning. Add to pasta sauce. Set Aside.
Combine 1 c. mozz. cheese, 1 c. parm cheese and ricotta in a bowl.
Spoon 2 cups meat sauce in slow cooker, top with 2 cups ziti, drop spoonfuls
of cheese mixture on top of noodles and spread out carefully. Layer 2 cups
meat sauce, remaing noodles, remaing cheese mixture. Spoon over remaining
meat sauce. Place lid on cooker. Cook 6-7 hours on low or 4-5 hours on high.
Makes 12 servings


Enjoy... this is simple and yes, you use un cooked Ziti.. LOL

You can make batch up for a GTG :) I think Liz made something like this for our Florida GTG was good !!

Or you can make up and Freeze left overs for those days when you don't want to cook..
