Coal Miner's Cake

I thought you all might like this one... Neighbor brought this over this afternoon and I thought I'd share it with you.... It was very good...ofcourse those on a "special " diet..can lighten it up..

COAL MINERS CAKE

1 pkg. Devils Food cake mix
1 can. cherry pie filling
1 tsp. almond flavoring
2 eggs, beaten
1/3 c. oil

Frosting
1 c. sugar
5 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. milk
1 pkg. (6 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Spray and flour 9 x 13 inch pan. Mix first 5 ingredients together and bake
35-40 minutes.

TOPPING:

Combine sugar, butter, milk - bring to boil - stirring for 1 minute. Remove from
heat and add chocolate chips - stir until smooth. Spread on cake.
