a friend brought this over to mom and me one day so yummy. I actually think it was the crust that was so good .... although all of it was
Chicken pot pie
Sauce:
1/3 C. butter
1/3 C. flour
1/3 C. onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
pepper
1 3/4 C. broth
2/3 C. milk
2C. Chicken
10 oz. veggies
Crust:
2/3 C +2 T. shortening
2 C. flour
2 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. salt
4-5 T. water
line 8x8 pan with 1/2 pastry pour in sauce-cooled
top with 1/2 sauce roll edges slit center
bake at 400 degrees for about 35 minutes...
