Sounds good, will be Sunday dinner.

Substitute for buttermilk- 1 tablespoon of white vinegar in measuring cup, add enough milk to measure one cup. Let sit for 5 minutes

I hear that sub all the time but always thought it was for sour milk not buttermilk don't see where it can be.. but to each their own I guess. will have to look at the recipe later... need to go turn off generator

Sheila, just put chicken legs in vinegar milk to marinate. I have used the substitute in the past. It’s convenient because buttermilk is expensive, doesn’t come in small containers so waste portion Will let you know how the recipe tastes. Don’t have Yukon gold potatoes either so will use instant mashed.

Ina probably sends Jeffery to the store for buttermilk but I don’t have a Jeffery. :)

Recipe was ok but won’t fix again. For me wasn’t worth fooling with the recipe for an hour. In the oven, out of the oven. You get the picture.
