Cookie baking tip

Cookie baking tip

when making cookie dough, double the ingrediants but bake only what you need. Put the rest of the
dough into 7 oz paper cups, place in a ziplock and freeze for future cookies. Only one mess to
clean up and plenty of fresh future cookies in the freezer just waiting to be baked.

One 7 oz cup holds enough dough to make about a dozen fresh cookies.

I love any idea that lets me eat twice with one mess. Mmmmmm.

Although I'm not a very good baker (good cook, just can't bake) so don't do it often, I take it one step further.

I tray freeze a bunch of cookie-size dough balls (homemade). When frozen solid, throw 'em in a zip lock (removed from the tray, of course :D ), and when needed, put 'em in the toaster oven. (I hate heating up the big oven for just half a dozen cookies or so. Don't need to do many because hubby's diabetic and I don't like many sweets.) I'll bet if your campers have ovens (mine does not), you could throw some in the freezer compartment. Wait, I have a convection oven in my camper...wonder if it'll work for cookies? I'll just bet it does!

Because of this thread, it reminded me I needed to put 6 in the oven for my sweetie's snacking pleasure this evening! Thanks for the reminder!

Anyone ever do cookies in a dutch oven?
