it's pumpkin season!! :lol:

Made this for a luncheon today that my mom was in charge of
it was really good...
Pumpkin Squares
Crust:
1 C. flour
1/2 C. brown sugar, packed
1/2 C. quick oats
1/2 C. butter
Mix together until crumbly press into 9x13 pan. bake @ 350 F. for 15 minutes.
Filling:
2 C. pumpkin
1 lg can evaporated milk
2 eggs
3/4 C. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. cloves
combine and beat well pour over crust bake at 350 F. for 20 minutes
Topping:
1/2 C. brown sugar, packed
1/2 C. chopped nuts
2 T. butter
Mix together sprinkle over top return to oven 15-20 minutes.
for my mom's oven it took longer so I'd add 10 minutes the the time before adding the topping
and then more at the end ..the topping really sunk for me which is why I suggested at that time to add more
minutes...
I realize that for some it's has way to many carbs but was so yummy thought I'd share with you
