I give you a definite don't try it on a product. I bought one of the new Betty Crocker Pumpkin bar mixes in the soft packs. Makes a small pan of bars...just the right size for two. Thought it would be great for us and we wouldn't be eating them for a week or they would get moldy. Well my opinion is that they were terrible. Dry as sawdust and no pumpkin flavor. Don't waste your money. Glad I didn't splurge and try the maple bacon cookie mix!
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

Bake?? What's that?? That's why they build bakeries.

Thanks for the heads up. That is a product I would likely have purchased had I seen it.
I like pumpkin - most anything.
Going to try a couple of new seasonal pumpkin products next time I get to Fresh Market (saw ad for them yesterday but ran out of energy before I got there today):
pumpkin pasta sauce
Pumpkin salsa
Am always on the look out for pumpkin items that are not sweet. Let us know if you find anything else.
