appetizer

I had forgotten about this easy appetizer I often make around the holidays, until someone requested that I bring it to a party. Take a piece of endive, put a dollop of goat cheese in the center, drizzle that with a bit of honey, put a walnut on top of the goat cheese and honey. I try to arrange them in concentric circles but it usually ends up free-form. Can it be any easier?

And you're just downright mean. I hope Santa puts worse than coalin your sock. You deserve it.

In the South, we don't get coal(in), we get a bag of dirt & switches!

This appetizer would be as bad as coal in my sock - worse, I can find a use for coal - yuck to goat cheese lolol

Judi you should have seen me at a Farmers Market a couple years ago when I tried it again last - I was sure I would like it - that my memory was wrong. OMG, Sparkle was laughing so hard I think she started crying. And it was fair, cuz I was really, really trying to eat it without making a face as the man who made it was talking to me. I really, really tried. I think her laughter clued him in before my face did - but after he knew it was okay to spit it out (well, maybe not ok, but I did).

Beth, we all can't like everything! I wonder what you could use in it's place...maybe a dab of cream cheese? It wouldn't have the same sharpness but it would be good with nuts and honey.
